What is a lash lift?
A lash lift works with your natural lashes to create a beautiful semi-permanent curl that lasts between 6-8 weeks. We use a technique that combines a lifting lotion and silicone rods to lift your natural lashes, making them look longer and fuller. We recommend lash lifts as a great alternative for those who don’t want to use eyelash extensions.
How to prepare for a lash lift
Before your treatment, make sure your eyes are free of makeup, mascara and false eyelashes. If you are using Latisse or another lash serum, stop using the product 24-48 hours before your appointment.
Finally, if you wear contact lenses, make sure they are removed before treatment.
What to avoid in the first 24 hours after treatment
- Avoid getting your eyelashes wet
- Do not use mascara or eye makeup
- Avoid sauna
- Avoid oil-based products
- Avoid rubbing your eyes
How long does a lash lift last?
A lash lift will last around 6-8 weeks (sometimes longer), depending on aftercare. Following the aftercare instructions above for the first 24 hours after your treatment will help with longevity.
Additionally, we recommend brushing your lashes in an upright position anytime after a shower (or after getting your lashes wet) to help keep their shape.
